Test Run Blog

We are committed to a clear, fair blog.

« More Incremental Improvements | Main | Test Run Beta Update »

Despite having not posted any updates to this blog about Test Run releases, they have been happening. We have been iterating on Test Run quickly in order to continue to flush out bugs and tighten up the application. The recent release was significant enough however to warrant an announcement.

Among the usual slew of bug fixes, we released two critical new features:

  • Enhanced Dashboard - Users when logging into the app will see a snap shot of each of the active test plans in the system. For each test plan, users can at a glance determine the overall status of the plan's execution by seeing how many test cases within that plan have failed, or have not been run. Users can also quickly jump to see the test cases within that plan that are assigned to them for execution.

  • Advanced Filtering - It is with great pleasure that this feature is released as it has been widely requested. Now, on any list of test cases (under the Test Cases and Test Plan tabs) users can filter any list of test cases by priority, product, assignee, status and more. This provides a great way to see only the test cases that are relevant to you at any point in time, which can be handy if your system has thousands of test cases.

Beta 8.10 is now available for download and is also available in our online version.
